Edmonton-based GRAYtheband is the intriguing, impressive project of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Gray Ford. Merging the sonic tendencies of Neo-soul and R&B, the alternative leaning sound is immersive and refined, combining forward-thinking production characteristics with intricate traditional instrumentation.

As the project continues to build hype towards a highly anticipated forthcoming debut album, All Done, GRAYtheband has now released the second offering from the LP. “Bit Late” follows earlier dazzling release “All Done”, and cements a nuanced and expressive stylistic direction. Featuring fellow Edmonton-based rapper K-Riz, the track flaunts Ford’s hip-hop inclinations, with the pair lyrically talking on the importance of love in the modern world, with a focus on honesty and authenticity in the face of emotion.

A slick and sultry offering, we look forward to hearing GRAYtheband unveil a full, cohesive body of work.
